No, taking the screen shot was fine. But I don;t know if it's possible to make the picture just shot show up on the forums with out people having to click links.

It is, open the image then right click and select Get Image Url, so that it ends in .jpg / png or whatever. Then add to the front of the url

That will put the image as an actual image without having to be clicked.

Alternatively, click the image icon in the post creator (third tab to the right) and put the url in. Xenforo will do the rest.
