LeagueCheats Forum Restoration / Updater Possibly Limited Connectivity

The website and updater server went down today due to the massive connectivity failure that happened to OVH NA after an 800gbit fibre bundle was cut in a lake early this morning.

The connectivity has been restored to many (but apparently not to everyone yet) more and more will have connectivity in the coming hours as OVH works hard to restore service to everyone.

The Updater server is still broken for this reason and there will be no ability to download cheats until its service is restored.

We will post a notice when this happens but until then this matter is out of our hands.

Updater Server has been restored (Some may still be unable to connect to it, this will improve in time). Forum should be up for everyone.

We hope to have full service again in under 24 hours from this point in time.

Following this incident (even though it had nothing to do with us) we will acquire a backup server (just like how the auth itself runs on many geographically redundant servers) and in the future we will be able to manually restore service faster by switching the website and build server to alternate hosts.

Soon enough the Updater system will run through our same secure CDN that the auth is currently running on (which is why most didn't experience any cheat-service outage today).

We apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you.
Believe us; this incident has taken its toll on everyone.

I don't see how the two are correlated at all.

Many sites were down due to OVH being down.
And even if every other cheat site went down, that would have nothing to do with VAC.

Waves only exist for targeted cheat sites. Ones that are popular and they can justify the time to come after them.

We will most likely not be in any of the waves.
We have few users and we are not advertised on any major site/forum.

Nevermind that unlike most sites, we actually have many layers of security for our software.
