Latest 3.0 Beta News, New Recruitment and Much More! [Updated]

Hi,
Probably everybody is waiting for the main LC 3.0 release :)
Sadly our team decided to not release unfinished project until Jimster fully secures it. What does it mean?. Right now we have few different layers of protection, but when it comes to multi billion company.. They will have enough funds to hire a professional reverse engineering team to get us detected or patch our unique bypass method. Jimster is trying to secure every single part of LC 3.0. We can still get detected or our bypass can be patched, but it will be basically unprofitable for AC's DEVs/VAC. That's what J480 is trying to do right now.
Once LC 3.0 will be ready, we are going to release it. It takes some time to do it, but every day we are getting closer to final release.
Our security in LC 2.5 (current version) is already top notch, we have one of the best UD streaks on the p2c market, the cheat came out in October 2012 and we had first detection in March 2015. Right now we are over 800+ days UD = 2 Years and 2 months+.
We know how important security is, everyone here at LC is playing with high expensive inventories (I'm playing with 3.8k € inventory too Steam) your skins, your career must be SECURED :) We know how important security is ;) and that's why we are increasing security in LC 3.0 to provide the best available security on the p2c market.
In LC 3.0 there will be also a new recoil type 5(Standalone RCS) and a few other minor bug fixes/tweaks. More features will be added in time. Example: Autoshoot type 3 (old type 2 where ab only shoot once instead of spamming with deagle right now Kappa), Dynamic FOV, Recoil Crosshair, Separate Scout/AWP/M4?/AK? from weaponconfig system.



Security and Security.. What business model should we choose? When will the Beta end so we all can use it? Will be the bypass available for everyone? The highest LC Staff is deciding what we are going to do with LC: these are our few options:


-Release LC 3.0 with bypass for everyone
Pros and cons:
+ More moni for J480 = new projects like Rust (We have already EAC bypass) etc..
- Extreme high number of new customers = quantity over quality
- Major Leagues/VAC interest
- Highest chance of possible leaks/league admins banning legit people for sharing lobby links etc..
- Extreme Spam at forums by newbies asking for settings/how to use



-Implement slots system in LC 3.0
Pros and cons:
+ Very low userbase
+ Almost 0 interest by major leagues/VAC
+ Quality over quantity
- Moni will be issue here, J480 will be able to pay for himself (work) and pay for LC services (servers rents etc..)
- Not everyone will be able to get free slot, basically only those "lucky" guys will have access.



-Release LC 3.0 publicly but increase price to 50$ for League Multi $50/mo
Pros and cons:
+ Enough moni for J480 + cash for new projects
+ Significantly smaller userbase
+ Low interest by major leagues/VAC
+ Quality over quantity
- Only rich people will be able to afford this subscription



-Lower Beta requirements to 2 months subscription, keep the same prices and allow almost every user to apply->get beta access.
Pros and cons:
+ Enough moni for J480 + cash for new projects + upgrades
+ Little bit higher userbase than now.
+ Some interest by major leagues/VAC
+ Everyone will be able to buy it
+ Quality over quantity
- Average traffic at forums
- To complete registration process you have to complete quick quiz, just to make sure you understand basic English + you have working brain



-Introduce 3 tier LC 3.0. Non-League Multi = MM/All server sided ACs, League Multi = Gfinity/CEVO/ESL, PRO League Multi = EAC/FaceIT/GC
Pros and cons:
+ Enough moni to keep LC running + expand
+ Average userbase + 4 different slots (Multi, Multi2, League, PRO)
+ Some interest by major leagues/VAC
+ Everyone will be able to buy it
+ Quality over quantity
- Average traffic at forums
- To complete registration process you have to complete quick quiz, just to make sure you understand basic English + you have working brain



I highly suggest fourth or fifth option. Personally I will vote for fifth option.

I haven't read through the whole thread, but let me add my thoughts. I work for an investment bank and have to give strategic advice every day :)

The 3 tier system sounds good. Tier 1 being MM only (VAC) should stay the same price and service.
Tier 2 being the easier anti-cheats and costing $35 seems fair.
The problem comes with tier 3. Faceit is really getting their act together and like ESEA might end up having a very intrusive anti-cheat system or a very well optimized one. Either way, the chance to be banned on Faceit is going to be much higher (either due to detection or manual ban of obvious cheaters).
Charging $50 per month would keep the kids away, but if this version was banned by Faceit then Jim will have to be in a cat and mouse race with that anti-cheat which will take up a lot of his time and, more importantly, tarnish his reputation as a highly skilled coder. A detection is a detection, and if the cheat costs $50 then I think people will expect too much and the complaints would be huge.
I think having a slot system for the tier 3 option to keep the numbers down would be the best option. Yes, not everyone will be able to buy it, but that's the point. Security is the top priority for Jim, so if he kept the numbers at around 100 slots then it would not be worth the time and effort to reverse engineer the cheat and detect it.

It really depends on how confident Jimster is in his coding and the teams of people trying to catch his cheat (an unknown variable). I'm proud of Jim having kept LC undetected for so long it would be a shame to see his hard work and good name disappear just to try and increase sales. Most people here would agree we don't want an influx of kids from other providers in the forums or bringing attention to LC.

A short term business decision would be to release the cheat for any and all people who want to buy it, increasing the user base by 500% easily. But then would come the detections and bans.
A long term business decision would be to roll the cheat out slowly, make it a premium product that people want to buy. Make it expensive, give it limited slots. Build the trust of the community in the Faceit bypass.

Should LC become a mainstream cheat that is available to everyone? I don't think so. Should LC be something people admire? It already is and should continue to be.

I think most people would agree that the fewer people using a cheat, the less chance of it being targeted. That's one of the reasons LC has stayed VAC undetected for so long as LC is not a well known or mainstream cheat (although it is the only cheat I know that actually puts security before all else). I think Jim has done an amazing job and would like to see his work as being the gold standard other provides can only dream of achieving.

TL:DR-
3 tier system with slots at highest tier. Quality over quantity, maintain status as best cheat/coder in the scene.

There is always risk of getting banned no matter how much your "gear" will cost. There is nothing you can do about it. You have to accept it if you are going to cheat.

I would agree with most of your points except for this one. There are only a few private cheats that support and successfully bypass FACEIT's AC so as a consequence only private cheats would indeed not be profitable for Faceit to detect. 100 slots are definitely worth especially considering that the cheat is out for public even though there are / will be special requirements for customers in order to buy it. A realistic number if there's any would be 15-20 I guess but that, on the other hand, would not be profitable for Jimster. ;) So he has to put in the best security possible which he is doing atm.

And people will always complain in case their cheat gets detected especially when it's LeagueCheats. Customers are not really used to any bans on this site so this will always be a problem. Just ask Leaguemode's Tristan Kappa

Private cheats for FaceIT can make a shit load, Jimster has been offered 1-1.5k for a FaceIT private.

It would be easy for Jim to cash out and make the Faceit cheat available to everyone without any previous LC subscriptions. He would make a shit load of money that way but would also attract the attention of Faceit and maybe VAC. But this would be short term and upon the first detection would then be in that cat and mouse game.

I think Jim prefers to be known as a tier 1 coder and his reputation is important to him.

I just think it would be such a shame for all of us if we suddenly had an influx of new members from other shitty cheat sites. I've seen those kids, it ain't pretty. Especially as LC takes some work before it is set up and suits your style of play. Most cheaters want a plug and play hack with no user input and all the bells and whistles (skin changer, speed hacks, visible ranks, sound esp etc). As we all say, if you use LC you aren't cheating. It's for legit play and that is the future of the hacking scene. Nobody cares about rage hacks these days except edgy kids.

If Jim values his reputation, he will keep the new kids to a minimum. We want valuable members of the community, im sure Tox doesn't want to have to answer kids asking why their aimbot doesn't work well when using MC on.

LC has a steep learning curve, you have to understand how the hack works before you can use it well.

I just worry that with a lot of new members, the community will be worse and this site will become like the C&P sites we all laugh at.

I hope LC goes UD forever, but with the Faceit bypass it's gonna bring a lot of heat. Especially is Jim is the only guy who can bypass it successfully.

Either way, the most important thing is we don't lose our accounts. I'm sure that's the last thing Jim wants. We all have too much to lose :(
 
I think it would be great to sell Tier-3 Cheat to people who have used Tier 1 or 2 for at least 6 months and buyer should also provide his ID. And yeah, 50$ is a good price for Faceit Client.

Read a lot of opinions about the project. I want to share my. The first time I ran into LC about a year ago. Honestly, I was in shock. I did not understand how the aimbot works, I did not understand how to play with LC at all. I helped people who are here. And this community is the main merit of the LC, that it's not just the cheaters that need wh and ragebot sitting here, I'm the adult guys who understand what they're doing, and they have a colossal experience in the CS game. And yes, like many I do not want children to come to us and use the LC and desecrate this project. And I'll wait for how many updates I need and will pay more for the bypass of faceit ac. I believe in jimster, I believe in you, I believe in LC!)) To all the good!
