I used LC a couple of years ago on faceit. What I understand is that I can use LC on faceit AC if don't use the client?

Yes, you can use LC on the server sided AC.
Client AC is not supported and it seems it wont be.

Yes, so long as you aren't using the Client then you can use LC.
