I played 800x600 at my top time. Also, in 1.6 most of the pro`es played on this resolution and 640x480. When the resolution is small, game is feeling more intense and fast.

you can't compare 1.6 with cs:go never. I used to play on 1.6 with 640x480 too but in cs:go with the smallest resolution you can play decent is 1024 4:3

Basically reso and other stuff does not make you better, but that resolution. Slightest movements, you would react. You can’t see a thing clearly.

Exactly. I remember playing CSGO on a MacBook, to actually obtain 100+ fps, my resolution was 800x600, couldn’t see a single fucking thing that’s 20 metres away from my playermodel.

Hence I had to get ESP
